Everyone's favorite racist
Seriously, why is it even still news when George Allen says something racist? It's not like it's some sort of big secret, the guy's an old school white superiority "good boy". What's the latest flap-up about? Apparently Salon's got an article about how Allen's old college football buddies are speaking up about his old bigoted days:

"Allen said he came to Virginia because he wanted to play football in a place where 'blacks knew their place,'" said Dr. Ken Shelton, a white radiologist in North Carolina who played tight end for the University of Virginia football team when Allen was quarterback. "He used the N-word on a regular basis back then."Anyone idiotic enough to believe racism or racist actions are ever justified deserves to have it thrown back in their face when it can most hurt them. Me, I predict that this once possible '08 contender doesn't have a chance at the big chair now, his past actions and current slip-ups have lynched him.
